I haven't had time to check my e-mails, but I remember last year some days they sent me one and other days they didn't.

I can't stop laughing. My son is rolling his eyes telling me to grow up and calling us all a bunch of weirdos! :rotfl::rotfl:

It could be a whole lot worse.
I watched a program last week called extreme couponing, black friday edition. OMG.

They had their thanks giving dinner then set out at 10pm to queue outside stores, kids in tow (even babies), as a lot of shops gave out wrist bands to the 1st 50 - 200 customers, some were for free digital cameras, some were for $25 - $2000 gift cards. Or had amazing deals like 50-75% off a selected laptop or games console
These people would queues with their kids so they ended up getting 6 wrist bands meaning 6 free gifts.

The people shopped none stop from 10pm till noon the following day 14 hours of non stop black friday deals, travelling all over in a very highly organised exercise to maximise the deals.

Most store gave upwards of 50% off, so amazon uk are having us over big time.

  • :( I have to go out to friends for dinner.

normally I'd be really excited (hey, it's a night off from cooking, alongside good company) but today it means missing the last couple of hours of unbelievable offers.

I didn't get anything from Amazon, you'd think they would send out a reminder, then i wouldn't have missed a days worth of deals

I have no idea, but one woman had coupons for $60 dollars off an electric shaver, she just happened to have 16 coupons, and one store, just happened to have them reduced to $59.99 on black friday, so she walked out with 16 of them for free. And I was left sat there thinking, you must have one hairy family.

but on the other hand, one woman shopped for EVERYONE, and charities gave her money to buy christmas presents for the needy and poor etc etc, and she did amazing things with the little money she was given.
