Really annoyed about this - my Disney choo choo toy, Trunki and LAMB perfume have been delivered, but sent to an address a few roads away (that has a similar name to ours). This happens with orders from different companies every so often and the guy who lives there gets very rude and angry with us. Several different delivery companies do this and I have complained to Amazon before (as it has happened with their orders amongst others) but there seems to be nothing more I can do.

Really annoying when the homeowner turns up on our doorstep and gives us a mouthful. He's now refused to pass any of them on to us so I had to trek to his house in the rain earlier and lug back a huge parcel (which was the choo choo and trunki so not light or easy to carry!) :(:(:(

Thats terrible Catriona..:( Some people are so rude..I have the exact oppposite of that problem. I get stuff sent to my house and its not for me, its for another road same number different road name. Ive taken things around to him and hes been so damned rude to me..so now I refuse and I put it in the post box - return to sender. People huh..

Really annoyed, been in place ready for the Battlestar Galactica Bluray box set, on the product page minutes before the deal became live and when it ticks over to the time the deal is live, it's immediately 100% claimed and no chance of joining the waitlist. Yesterday, I had it in my basket at the reduced price and then the price magically went back up to full price when I came to the payment stage.

Was just about to post my email :D

    Hello,

Further to our recent chat conversation, I am updating you through an e-mail.

We're sorry to hear that you were waiting for the deal to go live of: Samsung Galaxy S 8GB Wi-Fi MP3 Player with 4.2 inch Display – White, which was due to be offered as part of

'Black Friday Deals Week', on Friday, November 23, 2012.

Unfortunately, due to a technical issue which arose, this offer was prevented from being made available to any customers at that

time. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

To make up for this, we are going to re-run this deal at 20:00GMT on Sunday, November 25, 2012.

I hope this helps. We hope to see you again soon.

    Did I solve your problem?
  • I don't know whether to get Dark Shadows or not. I like Tim Burtons lighter films, but I heard this is pretty gory for a 12. Has anyone seen it?

How frustrating for you. Blooming couriers . Why does the homeowner get in a mood with you its hardly your fault. If he doesn't like it why doesn't he tell the courier they have the wrong address and point them in right direction. If he doesn't want to take it in for you. I think sometimes people just enjoy giving others grief. Sending him cyber slaps.

Thanks petshrink & Ouzy. I have told him several times NOT to take delivery of an item that isn't his, but it's obvious he isn't listening. Today's parcels were apparently just left on his doorstep so I can't really fault him for that. It's frustrating when I keep apologising and he just gets arsy at me. He's so rude its unbelievable.

Thankfully all but one more of my remaining items will be going to my work address!
