does anyone have any opinions on scuttlebugs. my daughter will be almost 2 at christmas. wondering if this is any good for 2 year old?
My daughter is 2 in January, they have scuttlebugs at her nursery and she loves them. I'd buy one but she already has a trike/bike conversion and we don't have the space.
If it's a good price I'd say definitely go for it!

If you are 13 and don't want your mum to know you are STILL reading. Although this does seem like shooting myself in the foot somewhat! :rotfl:peaceandfreedom wrote: »Regular Kindles have no lights, they are not back-lit, they can not be read in the dark - though you can buy a little clip-on light which works fine. The fact that they are not lit is part of the appeal - it makes it so much easier on your eyes, very similar to paper and ink books.
The Paperwhites are lit but there seem to be problems with the lighting. The Fires are coloured, backlit etc so are more like reading off a computer screen. And they are much heavier than a regular Kindle.
It depends on how you plan to use the Kindle - I rarely need to read in the dark, I have a little clip-on light, I've hardly ever used it.
Thanks for this. :T
Don't think weight or light will bother teenage DS as he reads via the kindle app off his tiny android phone screen anyway. Well, he did until 2 days ago when it fell off his lap as he got out of the car and DH ran over it
Think that I will probably get it, but may read a few more reviews first. The only problem I can forsee is that I don't thinkhe will be able to access utube. But that's probably a good thing!* Ebay- 1 Bag a Day *0 -
