Got my eye on the Le Creuset (again!!)

If it goes for less than £69 I'm buying it. Maybe. Probably shouldn't though. But I want it. :o

It won't even go for less than £69 so I'm torturing myself over nothing :rotfl:

I've picked up some fab Le Creuset at TK Maxx at a decent price...
  • If you want an ereader, buy the normal kindle or paperwhite, If you want a tablet, then get the kindle fire. The tablet isn't good for reading books as it will make your eyes tired after a short time whereas the normal kindle has matt screen and different lighting (backlit). You can't get a table that is also a dedicated e-reader.

This is worth repeating for those interested in buying an e-reader - if it's primarily for reading books, just get a regular Kindle. The Fire devices are trying to be a tablet as well but if you look at the reviews they are neither a good tablet nor a good e-reader. Read the reviews carefully before deciding if you really need a Kindle Fire.

For reading books, I have a bog-standard Kindle and I love it. The paperwhites are lit so you can read in the dark but there seem to be quality issues with these with many poor reviews. Might be worth checking out the whole Kindle range in a real-life retailer before buying.

My son likes the Trespass coat at 11.30 - am wondering if my £10 fashion voucher will work on it?!

If you click on the item page underneath the price in a big box it will say if you can use your £10 voucher :)

No, doesn't look like it will.

For anyone considering the dolls house at 10am unless it goes dirt cheap this is a much better deal:

ToysRUs Universe of Imagination wooden dolls house - £49.99

as it comes with all of the furniture. I got it for my little girl for her birthday and she loves it.

Thanks - nothing there (apparently Trespass coats are not 'fashion').

Just have to hope it has a reasonable discount!

It doesn't say so on the item page,so no I don't think it will work,no idea what size he is,but this looks the same jacket here, not many left though.

Hi, thanks for this. DS keeps saying he wants a Fire HD, I'm wondering whether a Galaxy Nexus tablet would actually be better for him - same price
I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say. :)
