Go to Amazon. Click on the Black Friday deals. Have a browse through to see if there is anything you want. If so watch clock and click fast. I have GHDs :j. Some deals aren't so good so don't get too excited. If price not good enough chuck stuff back.
Excellent summary for the uninitiated - maybe I'll share this with my parents! :T:T:T

Me. I waited in all day yesterday for a next day prime delivery and it didnt turn up. When I checked online tracking it said it had been delivered and was in my porch.

    I haven't got a porch! :rotfl:

It was delivered today, the driver didnt want a signature.

I complained to Amazon as it's a high valued signed for item and they gave me a months extra free prime.

    (back to lurking)

Tried for the cd, was 500+ on the wait list so thought I had no chance - I went and looked at something else for a few minutes and when I went back it told me I'd run out of time to add to the basket
  • Ah, Lulu's bomb thingy seems to have leapt into my basket :o

Ha it brings back memories of the 2010,as soon as the button appeared stuff was gone lol.
Everyone was so excited if they managed to get anything in their basket, we were all saying which items we had "won". We have become blase to this over the last 2 years

Oh yeah, I remember that year... I won Take That for £1 :T
  • Missed out on the Etnies... :( that's me done for tonight.

That happened to me too - and I was looking at the page the whole time and hadn't been offered it to buy so I think it's just a standard thing to say the deal is over.

Amazon are very good and keen to sort out problems, the delivery side can let them down

    Good luck
I can't be bothered updating this anymore
  • Ahhh another day where my "guaranteed delivery for Tuesday 20th" has not arrived! I spoke to amazon last night who assured me it would be delivered today and checked. Online tracking and it's now back at the depot! Anybody else had problems with hdnl deliveries?

I've had numerous problems with them, they delivered to the wrong address, parcels went missing, I spent all morning trying to find missing parcels....the list goes on.

Dpd now bring my amazon deliveries, however, they also seem to be unable to follow simple instructions - "leave with neighbour" by text does not mean leave on doorstep in the rain!!
