Leapfrog Leapster Explorer is back again. Any takers?

They are great, my daughter loves hers, and Amazon and Play often have games for only £9.99

Does anyone know what the Sure Shot Action Sport NBA Superbasket is like? There are no reviews ... DS has asked for a basketball net for xmas and I know nothing about them. It looks a bit plastic-y but it's expensive.

Well so far i've bought the lovefilm deal and the dr who blu rays yesterday for father in law.

I've missed so much too, really wanted the dark shadows dvd (guess i dont need to now with lovefilm) and was hoping to get the razor mouse for DH too.

Was going to get that sort it out game for us on xmas eve but not for £9.99, how tight am i :rotfl:

  • No use bickering over DVDs vs Downloading. Different mediums for different people! :)

I personally like to download as I tend to lose things and I can back them up too. But my parents still buy DVDs and there's nothing quite like looking at the impressive collection they have and picking a film from the shelf instead of scrolling through files.

Also some people aren't as techy-literate as others and may not know that on some tvs you can plug usbs straight into them and stream (my bf's does, I love it!) I'm blessed with amazing download speed so it's no biggy to get digital copies (and yes, blu ray versions too).

But seriously, each to their own. DVDs are cheaper nowadays because technology is evolving and there are different ways to watch films and yes someday they'll be completely obsolete but thats way off yet for a lot of people.
  • I`ve got a blue ray player and it also plays dvd`s. I won`t ever be streaming films here, too isolated and slow

My fly boots have been delivered - i really hope they fit...
  • Loads of my timers just sit at 0 seconds and don't come up at all unless I refresh, so annoying, quite glad there isn't anything I really want yet. Am hoping the hair straightners later go for closer to £50 then the ones on Monday! I can't quite justify the extra when I still have most of my xmas shopping to do!

Just out of interest, how much were the fly boots?

I wanted the game but was so busy reading reviews, i missed it; must have been claimed instantly....So difficult to find decent new board games
  • Also, I can't believe they've marketed biros specifically for women!

No woman with any self-respect should get them!
