Apart from anything else a lot of broadband packages still have download restrictions so most people can't just stream or download everything.

Meh, I haven't bought a dvd in years, seems like a massive waste of cash.

I'd like to see you stream blu-ray quality, even DVD quality online. Compression settings usually mean that it's the best part of 1/4 of the real quality. Now to me, picture is very important, not so much if you're just going to watch Bob the Builder.
