I just checked my orders due for delivery today and they are coming from 3 DIFFERENT couriers as well as the normal post- incredible.
There's no chance I'll get everything today then as our house seems to be a courier black spot unless they've been before (up a track in a village).

Right, I really am going to do some work now as I've got shoeboxes and presents for Oz to wrap as well. :(

ihad 4 different deliveries yesterday :rotfl:

  • The delay in the appearance of the 'add to basket' button is now between 7 and 9 seconds for me. (Obviously 9 on the things I really want!). I think I may have to declare myself 'out' as the frustration is getting the better of me.
Anybody have similarly long or longer delays?
  • I have the WWE game in my basket woooo, even though with 1 minute to go the postie knocked and it takes me forever to get up, I called out that I have a bad back and am coming... waited for the game to come available and then went to the door... oops.

yep DS said to F5 but you do that and it goes back some pages so you have to quickly click forward and once that is done the deal has gone

THANK YOU! your post just stopped me buying something I don't need, cannot imagine a use for and no doubt would be a bad purchase.

Thanks! Sorry yours split though and the toe-rag retailer didn't replace. Just a word, had you bought them from Amazon they would have sent you a new pair no questions asked. Amazon are good like that, which is why I buy most things from them. You also have a full 12 months guarantee on those boots, I would have taken the retailer to court, but I'm a rottweiler when things don't go my way, when I've spent money :D

Edited to add: item not fit for purpose and Hunters are perfectly fine to be used in snow from my brief research over the last few minutes. Me suspects you got a faulty pair.

There have been a number of people unhappy with the quality of Hunters since they moved their manufacture to China. I have a pair I bought from TKMaxx a couple of years ago that are still going strong, but they are one of the UK made pairs. It may be worth looking at some of the reviews here if you are thinking of getting some: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hunter-Unisex-Original-Colours-Wellington/dp/B002CQU0D2/ref=pd_ybh_5
