Removal of non-load bearing internal wall

Hi, looking for some advice please. We are due to have an internal wall removed tomorrow (non load bearing but a solid wall). I hadn't considered building regs until someone mentioned it today. I have had a look online but am still unsure. I am in Wales which I don't know is of significance but I did see that some regs were specific to England.
Thanks in advance for your advice.

If it is definitely non load bearing you won't need Building Regulations approval to remove the wall. There may be requirements under part P if you are doing electrical work (removing sockets etc).0

Thank you, builder isn't altering the electrics as we are having a kitchen fitted and they will be done then.
