Cancel then rejoin?

I recently cancelled my Barclaycard as they did not offer me any good offers and have beter 0% deals elsewhere. How long (if ever), will I have to wait until i can apply for a new barclaycard at their new customer 0% offer?

How do you know when its ok to re-apply then?

Asking when leaving is the only way I have found out. You can always phone and ask when applying or get the T&C though this is not always in them.

I cancelled with Capital one about 6 weeks ago,then i got exited and applied for the 18 month deal,guess what...........i got the 6 month deal (i am not sending the credit agreement back)

I must say though,i had not used the account for a long time,if that makes any difference?

I don't know if they go as far as to credit check your application before finding out you have just cancelled.

I also cancelled an MBNA card in Feb,then when i switched bank account to A&L,they gave me a £10k credit card,i then cancelled this in March,as it only gave me 6 months at 0% but i NEEDED a 9 month 0% card to be able to settle my car loan,i then applied for the Virgin card last week,and got the same limit as the A&L card,which i can now use up to my Jan aniversary with EGG.

I do find it strange that i have had dealings with 3 MBNA owned cards in 3 months and have not had a problem.
