Experian credit report - wrong date of births

Hi all,
I recently ordered my wife and I's statutory credit reports from Experian and Equifax, along with viewing the free CallCredit report via Noddle. All the information is correct on both the CallCredit and Equifax reports.
Unfortunately my date of birth is being incorrectly reported in 12 (yep, twelve!) different parts of my Experian credit report. This includes in the linked address section and a (now settled) credit account. This is also affecting my wife's credit report since I'm listed as financially associated to her (i.e. and it's showing the wrong date of birth there too).
All the date of births are correct to within a month - usually the month and year is correct but the day is wrong (showing as the first of the month).
To try and remedy this I rang them up, only to be told I can only e-mail or write to them.
So I e-mailed Experian about this (2-3 weeks ago) but they didn't reply. So a week and a half ago I then sent them another e-mail (this time receiving an automated reply giving me a tracking number), and I also printed off the e-mail and sent it to them as a letter. In the latter 2 cases I enclosed a copy of my (full) drivers license showing my correct date of birth.
I've still not received any response from Experian. How should I proceed? Or should I just hope that they reply to my second e-mail or letter (even though they ignored me first time around)?
We're hoping to apply for a mortgage soon - could this negatively affect us? Also how could Experian have got this so wrong? My DOB is fine with the other 2 agencies?
Thanks,
TDPIX

Have you had a free trial from Experian yet? If not then sign up. If you have a subscription, you will get a much better response (although they should have still sorted this problem out without a subscription).
If it was me, I would pay for a subscription to Experian if I had a mortgage application coming up and had inaccurate information in my file. Worth £15 for 1 month and if you cancel after 1 month, they'll offer you a more reasonably priced subscription (e.g. my Equifax is £3/month after phoning to cancel)0 -
Thanks for the suggestion
You are quite right, it is worth doing that.
I signed up for a trial last night so once I get a PIN I'll login and look to sort it that way. (At first it said I already had a trial, which I didn't, but I resubmitted the form and it then worked??)
Still a bit of a pain that I had to provide my card details (and will have to go through the process of cancelling) simply because they aren't interested in helping those who paid for the statutory credit reports.0 -
TDPIX - sorry to hear about this. Please send your Experian report reference number to customer-relations@uk.experian.com referencing this thread and we'll look into it for you.
