McDonalds - Grrr

OMG - My other half and I went into McDonalds yesterday. Normally in not so naughty but i wanted some junk. I ordered 2 big mc meals and they said they were still being cooked and wouldnt be long. After 5 min i complained and they said sorry and would fix it. Another 5 min and still nothing.

Errr...this is meant to be FAST FOOD!!! So now, i'm hungry and fed up. The manager himself says he will cook it for me, that a burger only takes 4 and a half min and he will give me a refund too...feeling better.

I should of known better but only two min later he comes back with our burgers claiming to of cooked them himself. I looked at my partner and was like what a lier, there is no way he did that already...I was so wrong.
My partner took a bite and no joke, there was blood everywhere coming out of this burger. The idiot had burnt the sides, not cooked it all the way through and tried to poison us.
He gave us a new free meal which my partner ate but i refused and said sorry but that was all he could do as we already had a refund.

So unhappy. I swear its against the law and i am NEVER going back!

  • You should of taken the burger to trading standards wihout delay along with your receipt and the managers details.

Mcdonalds usually have close circuit television, you could request that too.

If trading standards could prove that the burger wasnt cooked properly and given to you which may of caused some form food poisning that you would sue Mcdonalds for nearly 800 million pounds.

    But you didnt.

On a serious note ---- why on earth did you go to Mcscum

    I've been Money Tipped!
The last time I ever ate MacDonalds junk food was when I was pregnant. I had a craving for the Chicken McNuggets. I got a batch which were raw in the middle. I took them to Protective Services (previously known as Environmental Services) and there wasn't a lot done really. They had a quick trip to the place and checked it over, everything was clean etc, just told to cook the food better. Nothing done. I've never aten MacDonalds food ever again. I think I'd rather wait a while for whatever takeaway food I was ordering to be sure that it was cooked rather than accept partially cooked, potentially food poisoning junk. Whenever I order from my local chippy, it's usually scampi and I do wait at least 15-20 minutes for that. I rather wait and for it to be cooked properly, no matter what they say about how long they take to process an order.

Trading Standards is the wrong place to go, you'd want Environmental Health. You would need a sample of the food. If you don't have a sample of the food and all their due diligence records are up to date nothing can be done really.
  • I hate McD's
Everytime I have been in there the food is either raw, cold, overcooked or just plain inedible.

Their Customer Service dept is non existant and just pass you back over to the store managers who just offer you a free meal or refund.

If you're going to eat some junk that go to a kebab van. Why support a company as shoddy as McDonalds when you could be supporting a small time entrepreneur.

I would contact Mc Donalds head office first thing and explain. They will take it seriously open from 8am Customer Services Hotline: 08705 244622
  • My advice, write to the company head office outlining your concerns, I got a £10 voucher back for my experience and a nice letter.

McDonalds is a bit like The Sun. Nobody ever buys it but it's the most popular in the country ;)
    Can I help?
