Warranty for washer dryer after 2 years manufacturer's guarantee ends

My LG washer dryer is nearly 2 years old and I've had the engineer out 3 or 4 times in those 2 years, including replacing a significant part of the machine. It has a 2 year manufacturer warranty.
Today I received an offer for an extended warranty for the machine from Knowhow "Whatever Happens" to cover it for a further 3 years. This is linked to DSG, Dixons/Currys/PC World etc. as I bought it from Pixmania online and they supplied it.
Now normally I bin all daft extended warranty items but this time I am not so sure. They will cover it for 3 years for £135 with apparently, unlimited free repairs or replacement if it cannot be repaired.
With a private engineer charging at least £60 for a call out before any parts, just one further problem in 3 years would wipe out the £135 cost of this cover.
So help me out here. My intuition tells me all products like this are poor value for money but given the history of this machine (cost £600), I think I'd be daft not to insure it with them or elsewhere if possible.

Read it very carefully to make sure it is a further 3 years. In most case a "3 year warranty" will extend your warranty TO 3 years not ADD 3 years and so if you've had a 2 year manufacturers warranty you only get 1 year added to the length of the warranty.0

I had indesit call me to extend the warranty, Quoted something like
£120 for 3 years he said.
I was thinking 3 years for that, Not bad.
When i asked to confirm it was 3 years because the letter they sent previously was much dearer. Opps no he says thats for 1 year.
£120 for 1 years cover for a £200 machine. I think not thank you.
He said what if it breaksdown , I said i will buy a new machine and tell everyone i know not to buy an Indesit.
But from the reviews on the net seems almost everyone says that anyway

HI,
If the machine is currently ok, perhaps you could sign up with one of the so-called warranty shops who offer cover on washing machines for about £4 to £5 per month which includes full replacement if it cannot be repaired.
I am signed up with one but have not called them out yet, so I cannot make a personal recommendation, but perhaps someone else on this list could do so?
