NatWest Graduate Loan PPI

Hi,

I took out a graduate loan of approx £8,000 in 1997 to buy a car. I recall the conversation on the phone where they wouldn't give me the loan unless I took out PPI. I didn't want it, but had no option as I needed the car. I believe I settled the loan in 2000 or 2001. I have no paperwork.

Is it worth me trying to claim? My friends say yes, but I thought I needed to have settled it within the last 6 years. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Chris.
You're my badger now Dave.

You can go back that far but it does need to be provable.

He said/she said is not a provable reason.

It is also pre regulation which started in 2005 so i think you would struggle to be honest.

You would standard a better chance if you had paperwork, so your chances are low but still worth a try :)

Phone them up and see if they have your details still then take it from there.

    Good luck
