converting files to pdf?

Hi,

Can one of you knowledgable people advise me on coverting either a psp file (paint shop pro) to pdf (for professional printing) or if it's easier to covert a jpeg to pdf (again it's for pro printing)?

I'd rather do it true moneysaving style and use freeware :D

Thanks!

I just go into the program and print it out to a PDF printer saving the results to a file. I just use CutePDF.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
  • Download pdfcreator and install it on your computer. This program functions as a virtual printer. Open your original file in any program that can handle it; find the print option and choose instead of the standard printer, the PDFCreator printer; activate the print and Pdfcreator will ask you where to save the pdf file, choose a location and pdfcreator saves a pdf file (nothing will physically get printed; it will probably also open the new pdf file).
I hope this solves your issue.

I've been using doPDF on both XP and Win7 for sometime without any issues (simple with no frills). This link may be of use:

Never let it get you down... unless it really is as bad as it seems.

Another vote for CutePDF. It sets up as a printer. Just print it to the printer and jobs-a-good-un.

I would have thought printing to pdf would reduce the quality

Suggest asking the person who is doing the printing what format they want it in

    PSP X help file says

TIFF — a standard file format for printing and sharing images between programs. It uses non-lossy compression. Although you do not lose image data each time you save, the larger file size is less suitable for e-mail and the Web. TIFF can save data in the CMYK color mode for printing, and it supports EXIF and IPTC data.
