hi, hope someone can help.my hubby has been rushed into hospital and is likely to be there about three months. what happens with his incapacity benefit- will he still receive it whilst in hospital?
i work part time and receive wtc and ctc, but the IB also helps out towards rent and council tax etc and im worried they might stop his benefit. thankyou for any advice or info.

Yes he will continue to receive it whilst in hospital, you do have to notify the DWP he has been admitted.0

IB continues to be paid for 52 weeks, although as stated by Healy in Post 2, you do have to inform DWP about the change in circumstances.
