Off to the cinema shortly to see Quartet and will be doing the food shopping on the way home. Hopefully I'll find a few bargains!0 -

How many bargains did you hoover up?
I didn't manage to hoover up many bargains at all - spent about £30 today (will check receipts and report in the morning) but that includes enough cat litter/dry food for a fortnight, so it's actually better than it sounds.0 -
Spending yesterday
£1.87 - digital stamps (half price)
£7.33 in Asda on fruit, Ryvita and low-fat cheese (rock and roll)
£24 in Aldi, although over £5 of that was on cat litter!
I also spent £6.50 (!!) on posting a parcel, but the friend I was sending it to paid for the postage, thank goodness.
So, the accounts are looking like this:
Spends/food - £116.52
Bills - £263.34 as the power bill came out this morning
Purse - £10.900 -

Spending yesterday:
£2.25 on a cup of tea and a Crunchie.
Still a MSE victory as the original plan was to meet my friend in the pub where it would have cost a lot more for a beer0 -
I had all my spends receipts for yesterday and then threw them out. Oops. Less than a tenner spent though including two new bras from the clearance rail at M&S
Today I spent 30p on a packet of crisps. I really don't have the discipline for the NSD challenge
I have left:
Purse - about £13 (It's cold and I'm not moving from beside my heater unless I absolutely HAVE TO)
Spends/food account - £102.02
Bills - £225.93
I get paid on Friday, so that'll make the accounts look even cheerier. I am going to be spending around £35 (!!) on a haircut on Saturday, so I'm trying to keep being frugal with what's in the spend account!
