Thank you David.
I just paid £15 :eek::eek: to a local handy man for checking my washing machine and making it work on some of the programmes. He's going to call me back with the price for the spare part if I want to fully fix the washing machine.
This gives me more time to see if the price drops for the new one :T
He also said he would recommend spending around £300 and getting Zanussi or Whirpool. Or even better spend £800 on Miele :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Honestly connection is easy even if your oh does have 2 left hands
its a couple of minutes once you have unwrapped it :cool:I left my old one at the edge of garden and within 24 hours had a knock at the door from a scrap man to take it away saved £10
I used http://www.appliancesonline.co.uk and yes thouroughly recommend them
Might be the £10 next day delivery that bumps it up but when I was looking the one I was going to buy until I realised it was too deep actually went up £30 overnight and somebody mentioned their prices do fluctuateI am here
least I can do after all the good people on here who found me a washer.
1 take all the plastic and protection off
2 tip it back slightly 4-5 inches and remove polystyrene block from the front underneath
3 remove the 4 transport bolts at the back
(Very Important as mentioned by wackynut)
4 turn the water off at your existing connection (hopefully already did that when you removed the old one or you have a very wet kitchen now) remove old pipe
5 fit new water inlet pipe to the connection on the wall and to the back of washer
6 turn the water back on and check for leaks
7 once all the rest is done plug it in and away you go
you could even try a wash with it sitting out just so you are 100% the pipe is connected properly before you push it under the workbench.
A bit of cooking oil on kitchen roll rubbed onto washer feet and it will slide in a treat
You might need to move it in and out a few times levelling it if you have an uneven floor

The missus sits with the laptop on a cushion which means it is always overheating. Worse still she doesn't seem to care if that same cushion causes upward pressure on the power cord going into the lappy
It makes me
I have always told her that if the laptop needs replaced it will be because of that blooming cushion
I sit with my laptop on a pillow on my lap, and did it with my mums bf one for over a year every day and was never any problems with it. Made me paranoid now just taken away the pilow and put it on my lap. That's you nominated as well then since RM and RF are in hiding lol!
