the more the merrier;)
I agree, I have a dog that normally is quite happy with fireworks but this year as they have gone on so long he has gradually become petrified of them, to the point that he won't go in the garden at night:(
They are a pain in the back side. I have even had to get sedatives from my vet to give to my dog when she gets really bad. She gets so frightened that she tries to climb on me and has even tried hiding in the bath. She is so petrified to go out for a wee.N1LDA0 -

We can prepare for things like that. We can't for all the other days in between.
My cat goes and hides behind the tv when she's freaked out. It's the devils own job to get her out of there
In NI we have very strict firework laws - it helps keep the noise down:Dnever stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -

Homer's re-homing update!
Homer has now been introduced to our other 4 dogs and the meetings went fine without any incidents!:D
He had a very boisterous play with his brother in the run. (I think I will have to move a few ornaments before he comes home. Bull in a china shop springs to mind.:eek:)
He will be seeing the RSPCA vet tomorrow and if he is given a clean bill of health we hope to be able to bring him home on Wednesday.:j
Fortunately we don't need to wait for a home visit (which can take up to a fortnight to be arranged) as we have had two previous checks.:)
So pleased everything went well - can't wait to see the 'family' photo.0
