  • Morning everyone.
Can anyone give me any tips/pointers for a Sainbobs shop. I got some £6 off £30 vouchers and wondered how best to use them?
I dont usually shop at S so not really sure how the Brand Match works, do they compare the full basket against either A's or T,s. Or does it just look at each branded item to see if it is cheaper elsewhere?
Sorry for all the questions. TIA

The £3 coupon came from Kimberley Clark because Tesco messed up on the Andrex promotion - for those that emailed/called and complained, Kimberley Clark sent out £3 vouchers in recompense. HTH

I seem to remember seeing one of Martin's programmes recently where he was helping people buy tickets at a railway station in London. He suggested that they split the journey by buying 2 tickets at the station from where you're travelling from, but to look at the whole journey before you leave and see where there was a change of trains somewhere along the route or a main stop. For example, in your case, buy a ticket from Stoke to the stop or change on route, then buy another ticket from that stop to the final destination, ie Poole. Sometimes you don't even need to get of the train as you will have 2 valid tickets. People were saving up to £40.00 per journey! He called it splitting the journey. HTH :)

Yep, and there's a bit on the main site which covers it. there's even an app you can download I believe.

    Good morning all, btw!

    You're probably best reading THIS

Decide whether you are going to do a shop compared with Tesco or with ASDA and then look on MSM for things that are cheaper in Tesco (or ASDA) and make a list that will cost you £30+ in Sainsbury's.

There is an MSE app for this, called tickety split, but it only works with walk-on fares. It is, however, free, so might be worth looking at if you have a smart phone.

Sorry to quote myself, but Tesco has reduced the small tubs of Chokablok to £1 and there are 75p off coupons around. See here.

i've not been asked for it yet;)
I was asked for mine yesterday in my local and they also refused to give me it back..not too worried as it was a womble and was using a "lot" of coupons so didn't want to draw attention too much.
    If it's full price I don't buy it..if its 50% off I will consider it..if it's whoopsied and I have a coupon its in the trolly! ;)

Good morning, everyone. I managed a bit of a lie in even though the kids were screaming at me every 20 mins for something or another. You'd think even the 10 year old could sort some breakfast out!

OH off to work today, get this, in SADA  :D

Popping outside for half a fag then I think I may listen to rest of the song, I'm sure I know a 'popular' song by them but that one sounds like my cup a t
Hope you enjoyed it. You probably know 'Teenagers' or 'The Black Parade'. That really is a cracking album. I've seen them live and loved them, but up close and personal with Papa Roach was by far the best concert I've ever been to.

For all those with andrex coupons.
    Its a FIVE times winner.
    1. £3 off with coupon
    2. PP back in comparison to Sada
    3. 10p off fuel
    4. Lay the packs in attic as insulation.
    5. Use as directed on the pack after the winter frosts have gone.
Muhahaha - This made me laugh. Well done :T

Right, off I go to print my PPs and sort today's lists out :D
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.
