Interesting:beer: champagne just means it comes from the region does not mean it is any good.
I thought the 2 on offer had won some sort of award though well bronze or silver.
Mind if you try hard enough I am sure whatever could win some award.

I have always mentioned to the kids dont take too much notice of surveys.
As in 89% of people prefer a big mac to a whopper (no comments aau1).
If you wanted this result a macdonald restaurant would be the place to hold the survey and everything you said would be true and above board

    That's just mean :(

    :rotfl:

I don't pay attention to surveys. 95% of people apparently don't always answer honestly

    Re GTA

For those planning to try and sell the pre-order slips, be aware that they are limited to the store you bought them from according to the T&C. Especially for E bayers, you need to make that clear - not sure if its enforced in practice having never actually collected a pre-order ;)

I happen to know for sure that they work in other stores

Am I right in thinking I heard the 3 for £10.00 on chocs finishes tommorow?
I went to Longw++l Gr++n today and swopped some of my Milk Tray and Fingers for other items in the offer. I swopped 8 from 4 receipts and got 2 York Fruits, 1 Bendicks Mints, 3 G&B Classic, 1 LOB and 1 Elizabeth Shaw. 2 lots were from a receipts that failed APG, 1 from a marked APG and one from a receipt with an APG i havent used yet. My DD had dropped me there and when she picked me up I realised I had more in the car so swopped 2 MT and 2 fingers. Got 2 more G&B, 1 Bendicks and 1 Elizabeth Shaw. Both times the assistant was lovely about it.
Most of these are for my sil to use as teacher presents at her little girls school.

What a great idea to swap - would never have thought of that.

    Evening all.

Right I have had a busy day, 2 As and 1 Ts but 2 different times.

I heard those immortal words today which I thought I would never hear "Are you a friend of Martin's", now believe me it was completely out of the blue and I was making my escape from a very busy store. I actually think my heart missed a beat and I turned to see the lovely Pattylabelle. I do think I froze in time until she said, "are you Elliemoo, I'm Patricia, Pattylabelle? I recognised your shop".

I would love to meet up sometime for a proper get to know you and exchange of stories/tips.

Thats really nice, I only met one FoM, way back in the early DTD days in another store, not my local, and apart from my daughter , cousin and sister I have never met another.
Coming over your way for a week in Dec, but dont think I will be filling a case of Ts or As goods to take home.

Has anyone thought about how many unwanted copies of GTA T's are gonna have in stock with all these preorders? :rotfl:

I think it's more a case of them knowing we have more refined tastes up here and to be caught drinking cheap non vintage champers just isn't on:rotfl::rotfl:

Now why didn't I think of saying that.
    Well done :rotfl::rotfl:

I bought some of that cellophane in Lidl to use for making gift baskets now I have to round up so suitable glitch items not even sure if I have any might be some weird combinations

    any suggestions ? or tips

Pop it across the uprights, hope a few defenders run in then parcel them off to Agent 'arry for xmas:rotfl:He'll recyclye them somewhere on the south coast, a team will get relegated, another promoted...no money will exchange hands... and now.. I'm waffling.
But you did ask for weird combinations;)

Hope you have a better rest of the season.
