Thanks for the offer but haven't caught up till now. Shame about the result. Do you think Harry will be joining you soon?

Hmmmmmmmmmmm it was as painful as having your toenails pulled out one by one, we counted 3 players who were ACTUALLY playing :( personally had the timing been different I would have had Ian Holloway (Ollie) back but he just signed as Palace manager he worked miracles without any money so I think he could have done the job now.

Harry is a nice man, he was at a fund raising dinner at the Dorchester I was at for Disabled supporters and is a lot nicer looking in person but to be honest I think I'm past caring because every new manager brings in loads of new players I've only just learnt who the last new ones are.:( If Harry brings in the lovely Clive Allen on his staff as he did at Spurs then yes please Clive Allen was a hero of mine at Rangers when i was very young :heartpuls i had pictures of him on my wall

You should have said, I'm not long back :p Beef curry (extra spicy), boiled rice, prawn crackers & chopsticks - used them for the first time after some demos by OH. The phone was ringing non-stop as apparently there'd been fireworks there tonight so place was chocablok. I did debate offering my services to deliver but I had 36 assorted mullers to get into the fridge :o

Called into T & A on the way - well it would have been rude not to. The larger Ts in b'gor have been having issues with coupons. Apparently some woman was in during the week and then again tonight with £30 worth of photocopies. Couldn't get any more info out of the SA but she did go off and check my safe coupons were ok though apparently the name on the coupon is meant to match the name of your clubcard

So just to confirm the dairy PV spend:

12 assorted Muller corners & lights
    12 assorted Muller rice
    2 packs of Frubes
    2 Cravendale

    = £13 spend (£21.40 before savings) + 2 petrol vouchers

In hindsight if I'd gotten 2 more Cravendale I could have [STRIKE]1 more petrol voucher[/STRIKE] been carted off to the asylum.

    OMG......I use this store :eek::eek:
I can assure you it's not me. I was in this morning...:p Seriously tho...yes, I've been using a load of APGs there but all originals and with receipts to accompany them. In fact, I've just been letting them keep the receipts to ensure I've no temptation to use them again!!! (after I;ve used them in As tho obviously ;))
Aw !!!!!! this is gonna screw up that store.......it's been so good up to now!

They're my fav!! But was hoping to get the thorntons spirits as I love chocolate, I love cherries, and I love booze, so they should be my perfect sweet, but not going to get the chance to go tomorrow, so guess I wont.

I know I don't know the area well but the sada at the m3tro centre had the thorn chistmas spirit yesterday.:)

That's the one (Pierre Darcy?)that I've been directed to when I ask in sada for cheap champagne. Seems to be by the cooked meats/freezers in all the stores I've been in today. Perhaps thats our regional allocation for cheap champers. Did notice somewhere (HUKD?) that the £6 one was £10 until the last couple of days...perhaps ours is going down to £6 soon?:) Probably just wishful thinking on my part though:rotfl:
I have tried the Pierre Darcy tonight, not bad for £10 but we also had the Canti thats in sada for £5 and we all prefered that one :)

Mentioned that Morries had accepted my apg and tpp has any1 else had any luck with these been accepted, also now wondering if T will accept the apg aswell as the £5 off. Has any1 used the same £5 off for T and Morries thinking they may send them to the coupon checking place valssis and it might come back and bite u in the butt. Just wondering on poles viewpoint in this?
Can't see why they would pay a company to check a worthless (to them) piece of paper. It would just be another loss to them. It is only a lure to get us in the shop, to hopefully spend in T rather than A.... Or maybe I'm wrong....!!

Hope your fairy wul gave a decent apg. I was just buying some ariel actilift behind you. Have to pay £1 for the blinking thing now.

The little lad sa said "those coupons are fake"

Me: How could they be they printed off at bottom of your asda price guarantee thing
Him: Well they are fake and we've been told not to take them
Me: No bother at all sure I 'll leave those tablets then
    Him: That's ok

    SV comes over by chance

Him to SV: You see these things that print out at bottom of Asda Price Guarantee thing they are fake aren't they

    SV: No they are grand
Him: Och I'm sorry I will just put them through separately for you.
Me: That's very good of you

So I hand over my £1 after he scans the coupon and he hands me the £1 back with the receipt. Now what sense is there in all of that?:rotfl::rotfl:

Fairy worked out fine. When I was going through the security guard was hovering around about somebody going through without paying for their meat from the instore butchers.

Also made it to J1. They did have the Green and Blacks but didn't see any Lindt bar or LOB.
  • Decided to venture to Tesco blue boar, in search of 1L Glenfiddich, found the yellow RTC label for £20.50, hidden behind a pillar, virtually unable to be seen but space was empty, CS also checked at Harford Bridges by phone, but they had none either! Shame, my fav whisky as well:(

On the plus side, I relieved them of a tin of 5beanz, welch's rose and a 25p mini Billionaires Dynamite with my last 75p Chokablok voucher:)
