Been looking at cheese today (I wasn't lucky enough to get it in Tesco). M's have buy one get one free welsh mature cheddar £2 for 350g, and asda have Lake District twin pack (2x350g) for £3. Might help someone :-)

Got the last 2 bottles of champagne at my local A :-) got whoopsy time just right too and used the last of my beans vouchers as well, £3.15 off the rest of my shopping

It would seem that I have found my mojo again :-)

If you want to pay a little more and can use the Tesco petrol coupons :

    Cathedral City Extra Mat 350g T £4.50 A £2.00

You should get a PP to make the cheese net off at £4 plus a 10p petrol coupon

Hey, i thought my ears were burning last night. :rotfl:

    Hiya, :hello:
You have loads of choices on what to do in Cambridge it just depends on what you fancy.
There are 2 decent shopping centers- the Grand Arcade and the Grafton Center. The botanical gardens are beautiful and always worth a look around especially if the weather is nice or you could take a punt out for a few hours down the river cam. If its cold then they provide blankets to snuggle under. :)You could have a wander around the Fitzwilliam museum if the weather is poop or just go shelter in a pub or restaurant. As nikkilala said the Jamie Oliver restaurant is ok. Its a bit overpriced to me however. If you want a hidden gem the Erania restaurant on Free school lane (just of the Market square in the town center, near jamie's) has the most amazing Greek/Turkish/Mediterranean food ever and you get a massive plate load for a very decent price. :T
Thanks for all your ideas, the botanical gardens sounds great.
Spoilt for choice for restaurants, I will remember the Erania,:Tdiet will have to start next year!!

I used to worry about running my car on fumes until I googled the make and reserve. Found out my 32 litre tank had another 10 litre reserve.

I was very relaxed about filling up after that.:D

I agree my 80 litre beast has a reserve of 12 litres....I managed to run it down to 10ltrs and got £35 off a fill up!!;)

    Morning all!!:D

For anyone wanting to do a Tesco online shop for petrol vouchers, there are codes currently available (don't think I can post here but I've seen them on the Code board and on PTS - thank you) for

    £10 off first order
    1000 points on first order
    £10 Finest meal deal free

These are STACKING on new accounts and some old not used for ages ones. Its a bit random which accounts/codes work and I had to play around for a while last night to get all 3 on one account but result should be net cost of order £33 , PP around £9 , 1000 points and 3 petrol coupons.

Its not confirmed yet and sometimes (although never for me) codes are accepted at checkout but removed when your order comes. My order not coming till Monday and will be able to confirm then.
  • Good Morning Everyone:)

A wet and miserable morning here in Sheffield.
Going to walk the dogs, then compile a shopping list for Tesco to take advantage of their petrol coupons and PP.
I am running out of storing space, cupboards full, garage full, underbed full etc..
Where do I put more Andrex toilet rolls?

If anyone is not using their andrex codes, could I be very cheeky and recycle them;)

Hope everyone has a brilliant weekend.

Thanks to all who have helped me about Cambridge:A
