    Afternoon all
Completely lost my mojo after been reduced to tears in Argos of all places
Bought DS a watch/ stopwatch set for his bday, within a week the stopwatch has broken buttons are stuck completely frozen and paint has chipped off the watch which I wasn't that concerned about
    Decided to return
SA asks a manager they inspect the watch and say he has worn it out and too scratched to give a refund, they will exchange the stopwatch
Ask twice to spk with the manager, kept waiting half hour and he won't show. Ask politely 3rd time for him to give me the courtesy of showing his face
So he comes and says the same argument. Offer exchange of stopwatch ( which I don't want because it is do tacky it will be broken again in another week!) and refuse to take back the watch
I know t&cs say they have to offer to repair then replace then refund but by golly I have been stood at the tills when items have been refunded no questions asked without receipts !

Anyway had couple unopened items to return as well
Asked for watch back while I speak with HO
SA first interrogates me on why I want to refund unopened items, then spends 20minutes inspecting them ( fair enough but they were sealed) then gives me the 3rd degree on whether my Debit card is mine or not!!!! Put card in pin machine. Then she asks me to sign s receipt, then she tells met signature doesn't match the card so she can't give me a refund only a gift card!!!!!!
Never have I with chip and pin been asked for a signature for a comparison with my card. I really hadn't got the will to explain I have 2 signatures ( my short prescription signing one of long normal one, had I known she would be scrutinising my signature I would have not scribbled my fed up short one!)

Any advice before I ring HO appreciated
    Thanks
    And no laughing!!!!!

  • off to view another house fingers crossed

  • Last year when the Tesco 'Double the Difference' offer was on I developed a website (http://www.trolleychecker.com) which highlighted the products with the largest savings and a number of people on MSE used it. Once the offer was withdrawn the site had limited use and few people used it.

I have in recent months been developing a web app to be used on smartphones which allows you to scan items while you shop and it tells you where the item is cheapest allowing you to split your shopping and maximise the price match voucher you receive.

I would like some feedback on features that people would like to see and any things that aren't working.

    Its not copy/paste

Do a screen grab to save the results as an image. Then upload that image

HappyChappys instructions for uploading pics are on post #1 ;)

Has anyone any experience of Tesco Grocery Home Delivery? I'm thinking of placing an order to get all things for the petrol vouchers in one go - but just wondering, they offer a PP on online orders but is it only redeemable on online orders? Never had a home delivery from them and just wondered!

Just in case noone's answered this, you get a voucher as normal and you can spend it either way.
    Hope is not a strategy.
