Just done a successful trip to Mr T's and got 5 petrol vouchers.
now waiting for my pp back for the 6 Robinson bottles, checked 3 times I had the right flavours before putting it through the till!

Used all my bertolli vouchers and the lad on the till kindly mis-scanned my £2.50 off £10 of dairy twice (so that was an added bonus). I think the tills are still counting the total cost of the shop before the BOGOF's kick in, when you have a money off coupon to spend, as I know I only spent £16.80 on dairy so I could get 2 petrol coupons.

Now off to hunt for some sloes to make this years batch of Sloe Gin.
    yum yum!!

My local store last night, was completely empty of MT, I had the last 2 choc fingers and a few boxes of LOB.

Off topic, think I have persuaded OH to get a dog, now just to decide what, I would like a golden retriever or labrador, always loved and wanted either of these. OH thinks they are too big and would like something smaller, ie king charles cavalier?? What are peoples opinions on any of these dogs.

Hi, I had a golden retriever for 13years, absolutely brilliant natured dogs, never once bit or even snarled, a good sized dog and great with kids, the only downside was she was a total nightmare for hairs, if she brushed past you there would be half a dog on your trousers.

If you get a retriever get a dyson, best thing we ever done.

Hi everyone, away to catch up, hope all is well in the mad house.:)
I do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.
I'm just a penny short of a pound. Peace and Love.

I've joined the 5:2 club cos mrT made me eat 1p chocolate.
  • Afternoon everyone :)

Off to catch up but thought I'd post shopping from last night (yes I know I said no more MT but when do men ever listen?) 10p fillers removed. Used an APG and bertolli MOC. Trigger was Lindt bar.

  • Please can anyone suggest a good email address for complaining to Sada?

I rang CS on Monday, he said he would get store manager to ring, but nadda.

Wondering if there is a Head Office addy to try?

    As opposed to CS?

Original complaint was needed approval for APG's over £5  AND them insisting I give my name and address  before they would accept APG.

    Many thanks!

Bought one of these a while back to pad out a £40 shop but none of the bottles had the voucher(new stock?). Did see it a few days before that in another sada but the voucher said £1.50 off your next purchase of Martini Bianco. I take it then that it scans against the prosecco OK?

Yep, i went in took four off the shelf and used the vouchers on the neck of the bottles.. i suppose if you are a bit retentive you could buy one for £5 take the voucher off, use that on the next shop and rinse and repeat.

Hi Fuzzgun, I was away yesterday and have struggled to catch up (I'm at work). Is the fairy comparing on an AvT shop because its 3 for £2 at T's? Can I just buy 6 of one kind if I needed to or does it have to be a mix? Thank you
Yes it is T's. I assume you could buy 6 and it would still work, although I havent tried it.. yet lol

Both my DS's became somewhat normal when they hit 17. I say somewhat, cos they are still untidy, but you can at least have a conversation without the 'Kevin' response. DS1 has a good job, earning as much as I do, and having his degree course paid for by his firm and DS2 has a job in Sains, and goes to college. Both doing well, manage their own finances, (having been taught from an early age the MSE ways ;):D) and I'm soooooo proud of them both. Seems hard to believe how horrid they could be between 13 and 17. Rest assured it does pass, and they do become human in time.:D

Thanks, reassuring to know there is light at the end of the tunnel - can I cope with another two years though

Came home from shopping on Sunday to find DD1 (15) had pierced her own cheek with a (sterilised) needle and inserted a stud! Was furious at her but at the same time was grudgingly impressed that she had actually had the guts to do it

EDIT: Oh dear have just read some other replies to my original post - think I will just put them out of my mind or I will sink into severe depression :eek:
