I've had 2 golden retrievers and they are wonderful dogs, intelligent, placid, loving. But my last one had skin allergies and often needed bathed, and it's harder lifting a big dog into the bath. Our next dog will be smaller, probably a spaniel.

One of the best things I ever did was take the dog to training classes for basic obedience. Started when he was 6 months old. He loved it and after 12 weeks he would sit, stay, come. Another 12 weeks and he was walking to heel. It makes life with a dog a lot easier if they are obedient, and like children, I think dogs like to know the boundaries,.

Great thanks for the reply, I am at home all day, so have lots of time to train them. I like spaniels, but they are more on the go all the time, I have heard,

Both my DS's became somewhat normal when they hit 17. I say somewhat, cos they are still untidy, but you can at least have a conversation without the 'Kevin' response. DS1 has a good job, earning as much as I do, and having his degree course paid for by his firm and DS2 has a job in Sains, and goes to college. Both doing well, manage their own finances, (having been taught from an early age the MSE ways ;):D) and I'm soooooo proud of them both. Seems hard to believe how horrid they could be between 13 and 17. Rest assured it does pass, and they do become human in time.:D

OMG :eek::eek: I will move out if it lasts that long lol

it's nice to see the thread back to it's normal happy state:j, i did stay away for a few days as it went into it's chaos phase :o i'm not on any of the facebook groups either, so i think i've got a lot of catching up to do:rotfl::rotfl:
i've just got my list ready for petrol voucher:) and i'm putting my sada list togther, can i ask please if anyone done a s&g shop lately as we are fully choc stocked:rotfl: thanks
  • Has anyone any experience of Tesco Grocery Home Delivery? I'm thinking of placing an order to get all things for the petrol vouchers in one go - but just wondering, they offer a PP on online orders but is it only redeemable on online orders? Never had a home delivery from them and just wondered!
  • Can someone tell me at what age teenagers revert to being normal human beings again please

S's have a coupon for £1 off Bavaria Non-Alcoholic Beer (6x330ml) in their Christmas mag that is free at the tills. In W's it is 2 FOR £6.00 Valid until: 02/01/2013. Probably won't interest many people due to it being Non-Alcoholic but someone may find it useful. :)

I am going to do a clatter of these and drop them into old folks home at xmas- means they can have a few jars without getting blootered:D

This is a Tesco shop from this morning. The dumpling mix is 3 for 2 at T, so the APG has not picked up on that :(

Hi Fuzzgun, I was away yesterday and have struggled to catch up (I'm at work). Is the fairy comparing on an AvT shop because its 3 for £2 at T's? Can I just buy 6 of one kind if I needed to or does it have to be a mix? Thank you

Somebody earlier did one using swiss chocs as trigger.
