How is hubby? Any update on driving?

Morning tyroleandancer and all other shoppers and womblers:)

He is "ok" - working away though. I am the driver for mo and going to drop into Hughes the insurance broker today to see what they say re automatic car. A lot of people are telling him to just wing it and drive- no way- could cause a bad accident and even if he not responsible he would be liable.

Holding out some hope still- he has an appointment at fracture clinic for tom. They are going to take plaster off and re xray. They are so cautious these days- I suppose we live in a society where people sue at the drop of a hat so cover themselves....fair enough.

Anyways- they may say at that stage that there is no break- doubt it given the pain he had. Very kind of you to ask after him:A

    Morning all

Lazy day today waiting in for fridge repair man and minding DS2 who is off school due to election. Will get antsy though if I can't fit a small shop in somewhere :). Still want a few more GTA5 pre orders for the 500 pts.

Squeezed full 50 litres into my tank this am and got a lovely £25 off :) (love love love this promotion esp with PP and KC vouchers)

Am going to try and cobble together an A v M shop as I have a few Innocent Juice coupons which will make it free for a fridge restock. Trouble is I can't remember a single other item that is worthwhile for an A v M APG. Will have to do some back reading unless anyone knows anything off the top.

Hope everyone has a good day x

Coke zero 2l is good for Morries. Costs £1 in As but compares at 2 for £3.50:j. I got four bottles yesterday paid £4 and it compared A £7.00 to M £4.98

    Morning Elite!

I need your opinions on something please...

I was SUPERTROUTED last night in A's, Quite late at night so not many staff, when I went to pay with my APG man on the till said to me " I don't know if we can take this ", I said " yes you do they are Mr A's own vouchers from Mr A's website ".

Man on till "Well we've had some fraudulent ones lately  so I just need to check with manager."
Me " Ok no probs" I know they may be of questionable origin but they are valid and correct and match the receipts so shouldn't be a problem.

Man comes back "I've got bad news I'm afraid, we can't take these - the APG machine has got a glitch  (his exact words) and it's calculating the vouchers wrong so we can't take it. What it's doing is not seeing this box of choc on the receipt and is working it out at the full price of these boxes and giving too much voucher, we can't take them.":eek::eek: Way too accurate for my liking!

Now he didn't say if it was Head Office that had told him not to take them or his manager but to me that sounds very much like an over eager manager who has discovered what's going on from this very site!

The use of the word glitch had me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm sure if this has happened to anyone else it would have been mentioned so I'm sure it's store specific (PM me S.Wales peeps & I will name and shame, don't want to put it on here. COT you might want to know...)

    Any thoughts peeps?

Just go to a different sada- it is their mistake they should honour it. Know it says in t+c's about their opt out clause but......
