Well my new loo and basin are both fitted and working - not that I have tested them yet myself :o Workman is currently doing the tiling :j

I just got confirmation from Ravenswood Pet Rescue and can confirm that a total of £835 was raised in Alan's memory from the collection, cheques through funeral directors, and direct donations through Ravenswood website, and including my personal donation on behalf of Alan :j They have asked me to thank everyone. It has come at a very good time as they currently have a £3000 vet's bill   Alan would be so proud :D :T :T :T :T :T

I also took them a 'good' supply of Iams dog food ;) last month and will be taking them 'several' boxes of GoCat ;) tomorrow, so that will help them out lots too

Have fun testing the new loo and basin :rotfl:

I am sure you are so proud of the money raised :T:T
Alan will be smiling down :A
Smile :) and hopefully the world will smile back

  • Be nice Trouty, we know you're upset about COD but busybee was trying to help as some were getting confused about the Thornton's Christmas Spirits and The Christmas Collection boxes thinking they were the same thing :)

*Dives behind laptop, nervously awaiting scary smilie* :rotfl:

    Your right

    Sorry busybee :o

I'll just go and sit in the corner and sulk

That's great news. These rescue centres really do need this money, and it's such a nice legacy for your husband :)

Hi Dawn :j Look out for the Tesco petrol promo, u can use 5 x 10p off a litre at once.

Use any apgs you have to bring down the cost of the products you need to buy to get them, and try to use products that will get you a pp.

I'm still getting my head round that, and will be out experimenting with it tomorrow, though all my time is going on the GTA pre orders at the mo until I can find asdas that have lob, or thorntons spirit Chocs.

Ring me if u get stuck, and nice to see u on here

Mad got told about a special radio programme going out this evening @ 5:30 pm.
It was to "celebrate" 90 years of radio. Apparently all BBC radio stations were to broadcast simultaneously.
Mad rushed home, ignoring shops and glitches expecting a one or maybe two hour programme.
The presenter on BBC Essex said he was "nervous" about pushing the right button so that we could all join in.
Mad, being a radio fan was waiting in anticipation of something special.
What did we get? A cobbled together five minute piece by Damon Albarn! (not very good either)
I'd demand me license money back if I had paid it.

i listened to this too while in car on way home and thought it was rubbish

I'm sure you mean well, but that is not a good idea.

Yes I did mean well. My daughter just said she would not have liked me to have been stuck in similar circumstances that is why she suggested it. I also offered to let her know the quickest way for her son to pick her up by telling her a quick way in. At the least I may have found a shopping buddy from here if she wants to meet up/
