  • Good Evening

Hope you've all had a good day.

Had to work this morning and then went christmas shopping managed to get a load of things for DD from Primark. Been looking for a onesie for her and they had a lovely fleece Disney Minnie Mouse one there for £9.

Just been trying to catch up and noticed I missed a DTD on Fairy, can't even go and check now if any of our local T has it as have had a glass of wine. Hope you all managed to get some.

My cousin's just phoned, her dad got sent home from hospital. He just woke up and got out of bed asking when he could go home!
They'd worked out that the meds he'd been prescribed were totally different to the ones that he'd picked up in the chemist! The paramedics had lifted all his bottles of medicine and during the night the nurses had sorted them all out and found one with the wrong tablets in the bottle some time this afternoon.
They've got to check it out but as he's recovered and been observed all day and been fine they allowed him home. He has to go to his GP in the morning and Friday morning too so that the doc can check he's still ok.

I know there's got to be checks in the chemist but I'm just glad he's ok, we all think he should have been kept in tonight but he was adamant that he wanted to go home but would willingly stay until this evening so long as he could go home before bed time!

Good news that he is ok Spiralingdown, but     to the wrong meds. That is dreadful, it could have killed him

  • OMG anyone else watching superscrimpers..the family who spend £200 on food and £30 on chocolate a week:eek: Plus takeaways..total of £20k per year just on food.
they live in a town next to me..wonder if she will go halves if I offer to help :T

she's now realised she spends over £2000 on chocolate
    If it's full price I don't buy it..if its 50% off I will consider it..if it's whoopsied and I have a coupon its in the trolly! ;)

Hi Iamsohappy......Can I ask what you mean when you say you can go in a print off the details? I've often had my PP at the till but am just wondering what you mean by this.....? Can you print off the PP again at home?
    TIA

    Hi Leothecat
If you go to the PP website you can enter your receipt details and it
immediately gives you the breakdown of how your pp was made up.
You do not have to wait until next day etc.
You can't print another one though. hth:)
Smile :) and hopefully the world will smile back

  • Evening all.:)
I seriously need to learn to drive.
Today i piled the buggy up and got the bus back from T's carrying 4 x andrex , 8 x blocks of cheese, 4 x floras, 2 x anchors, a 4pt milk. 12 cans of cat food, 6 x pasta sauces, various fruit and veg and a 2 year old. I could barely lift the buggy on to the bus and the andrex hogged the aisle so nobody could get on or off without having to leap over everything. :o
On the plus side my arms are getting rather toned :rotfl:
    I think i deserve a glass of plonk :D

Hope all is well with everyone. x
