No I installed it myself about 3-4 minutes
Take out a piece of polystyrene from underneath (just had to tip it up to remove it)
take out 4 bolts from back of washer
put in 4 clear plugs where the bolts have been removed
    screw water in pipe on
shove outflow pipe into waste pipe on wall
    plug in
    and away you go

They do give you the option but it costs

Old one is on edge of garden and will be gone by tomorrow I dare bet

They also have the option of taking yours away but yet again it costs

As for the washer no idea its just done a wash that was on 1000 spin and could barely hear it sitting here never mind nearly being thrown from my chair:D
Will set it on 1600 spin see if I can shake any tiles loose. But it is sitting on kitchen floor rather than under unit so does not really mean much as yet. Waiting on mate to finish work and cap off hot water feed as even turned off it is leaking slightly .
All the washers I looked at only have cold in now rather than both

Having just refurbed the kitchen and utility room I had an old very heavy Belling cooker to dispose of. Was going to get the council to take it away at a cost of £15 and meant that I would have to manhandle it outside. The guy who fitted my kitchen said that he kept the number of one of the local reputable scrap dealers on his phone. He gave them a ring and they were round within half an hour and carefully removed it and took it away. :)

ps did think about freecycle before anyone posts but the door had broken recently making the oven useless (parts obsolete)

Back from another trip to Mr T's with Mum to exchange some faulty earings she got yesterday, couldn't spend long there but did get my first voucher for £7.10ish? spend on dairy by getting 2 x Bertolli spread and using 2 x 50p off voucher, 12 x corner yogs for £4, Activia pouring carton and a philli cheese pot. Will do my a 2 robinsons and 2 andrex another day, get the TPP then use that the following day to go towards another 2 and 2. Then that'll be my 5 vouchers sorted. :D

Now.... do I pop into Mr A's and see if they have any Lindt Gold Bear and Hearts, or Green and Black DARK ONLY? On my way to do school run so prob won't have time for a shop, but at least i'll know if there is potential stock for later. :p
