Well if you have a smart phone /iphone download the flashlight app and you will never be without a torch again as long as you have phone dont know how long it will last but great for little emergencies ;)

Thanks David. I'll have to get DS to download that to his iPhone, I only have a Motorola L7 and it's almost the same age as DS :rotfl:

Won't last more than an hour or so if it is a iphone! and leave you without a phone and no way to charge it.

Thanks silvercar for the time info, handy to know for a short time need.
My fuse box has individual trip switches for each fuse so unless the main one goes everything else should still work, it's the first one I've had like this so was very strange the first time it happened. I panicked but now I know it's easier.

I think now's the time to get one of those new fangled phones, even if it is just to check if a glitch is working or not :D. I have put it off for years, I do have one belonging to DH but I can't use it properly and get fed up or the battery goes flat very quickly so don't think that'll be much good :rotfl:

    Beautiful :A

Today I am smiling - it's 14 years today that my Nana was taken from us, this year I can smile though, as I know that her one true love, my Grandad, is now up there with her :A

With what's going on with my family at the moment with the death of my grandad, I could easily spend the day crying and feeling down, but I'm starting to take in what you guys have said over the past few months and learning to remember the good times and the love we had between us - so thank you all who offered me your kind words.
I only hope I can be as good support to others on this thread as you have been to me xxx :A

I am glad that you have found peace and can remember them like that, together at last :A As for the support of this thread ........... well you all know my views on that :A :A :A :A :A :A

Went to my extra "SOT"at about 9:30 and no sign of any SEL offers or at "billy" where I called on my way to Hpool to pick up some rugs I'd ordered. Whilst in Hpool thought I'd call at the extra and found the SEL. Woopsie Queen must be slacking or is out of the area:rotfl::rotfl:

    Hi David

Please let us know what the new whashing machine is like? And did they install it for you and took away the old one?
No I installed it myself about 3-4 minutes
Take out a piece of polystyrene from underneath (just had to tip it up to remove it)
take out 4 bolts from back of washer
put in 4 clear plugs where the bolts have been removed
    screw water in pipe on
shove outflow pipe into waste pipe on wall
    plug in
    and away you go

They do give you the option but it costs

Old one is on edge of garden and will be gone by tomorrow I dare bet

They also have the option of taking yours away but yet again it costs

As for the washer no idea its just done a wash that was on 1000 spin and could barely hear it sitting here never mind nearly being thrown from my chair:D
Will set it on 1600 spin see if I can shake any tiles loose. But it is sitting on kitchen floor rather than under unit so does not really mean much as yet. Waiting on mate to finish work and cap off hot water feed as even turned off it is leaking slightly .
All the washers I looked at only have cold in now rather than both

    Good afternoon Elite :hello:
No shopping done today so far, tbh I've done a few choccie shops and have enough now, more than enough infact  I'm giving my sons that no longer live at home a box of trellis and fingers and a box of MT each :D
I really want a healthy glitch please glitch fairy :j
Am gong up to the hospital to visit again today, will be taking another tin of fingers for the old boy :D No change when we went on Monday, didn't visit yeaterday due to family funeral.

I order 2 COD hardened for DS3 and 4, used Amazon, they said it had been dispatched and was due to be delivered yesteday. So far no sign of them   both sons fuming as they are big gamers and are both on xbox live.

Might pop to MrTs when I get out from the hospital ;)
    See you all later x
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
