From now on just call me the whoopsie dodger :(:(

I went to Asda first....no MT but plenty of Vinnies :(
Waited while the young chap went to look for some out the back and missed the meat whoopsies. There were two chaps who had gone around the shelves themselves picking up any meat where the date was up, then waited for the young guy who does the reductions to come out with his gun and shoved it all under his nose to reduce for them.:mad::mad:
they took the whole lot....hope they choke on their chops :rotfl::rotfl:

On to Morribobs and just missed it all there too apart from some bags of potatoes and oranges and some baking Camembert for 49p so I'm going to look up some recipes for that....I know you can deep fry it in breadcrumbs but Ive never tried doing that.

Was goings to try Sainsbobs but decided it was not meant to be today, so have come home and going to have a soak in the bath before I'm a celebrity :)
For the first time in years I was in the right place at the right time for the meat reductions, veg and fruit and bakery in my T. All very friendly and lots to go around. I'd only gone down there to pick up some specs but we left with a lot of food for a few pounds. Very happy with that :):)

  • Good evening

Have friends round tonight for a curry so just popping on quickly.

Firstly couponqueen sorry to make you think you had missed something my baby supplies shop was just me getting milk and nappies for my boys as the postie brought me a £5 of £40 shop voucher this morning (thanks again mhoc).

Nothing much to mention on my APG, new pots and kitchen roll still good.

Bought 2 bottles of Coke Zero (£1 a bottle in store) but on APG it compared £3.50 to £2.50 (T's) Think someone mentioned it yesterday but not sure if anyone has said it is working yet today as haven't had a chance to catch up yet.

Right I'm off to enjoy my curry have a good night all :D

yes i reckon it will do, the till will see the price before multibuys and coupons and issue the petrol voucher..... IN THEORY!

I did something very similar only yesterday....
    i doubled up a £10 cc voucher for £20 fragrance/beauty.
    I bought 3x £5 gift sets on 3 for 2 ... = £10 (till saw £15)
and 2x johnsons face wipes £3.05 BOGOF (till saw £6.10)
it accepted my voucher no problems and i had only really spent £13.05 so i got £6.95 off the rest of my shopping IYSWIM
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

  • Hello all- damp, dreary and drizzly old night in Belfast...no wombling. The lizzie shaw mints would be a goodie- thanks for trying Nikki and look forward to results. MIL is crackers about those.

OH now in his plaster- great NHS service for us again - we rarely have a bad experience.

Off on one of my cross country trips tomorrow so may drop in to sadas and toscos that are not local.
