Me too and it has to be fast because once ive had breakfast off out to currys/comet to see if they have it in stock rather than ordering it and waiting for delivery.
Has anyone used appliances direct before ? as they have next day delivery for £10 and the washer is same price.
I'm in the hunt for one too!:rotfl::rotfl: Ours went bang a couple of days ago. Only just had to fork out for a TV and a new hoover too.:mad:
Thanks, Looby, you're doing a grand job there! Keep up the good work! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::D:D:D:D;);)I am after a bit of advice. A lot of people on here have dogs. I have a 10 year old retriever. He has been down in the dumps for a couple of weeks now. I have tried everything. He has a walk everyday without fail but he is so depressed, bless him. Do you think it is just his age?
I'd take him to the vet. Chances are he probably has a bit of an infection or maybe a dental/ear problem. Probably nothing that some anti biotics won't sort out.
Hi all. I've been AWOL and skipping a lot. So apologies if I missed anything of importance, -it doesn't look like it though!Gwrys yn Kernow! :j0 -
Afternoon!
Postie has been so I'm off to A's to do a baby supplies shop (thanks mhoc)
I've got new pots, kitchen roll, don't want deo or chocs am I forgetting anything that gives a good return?
Thank you - my brain has turned a bit mushy after this morning's huge traffic jam and trying to entertain a toddler in the car for over 2 hours just to drop Daddy at work - thankfully baby slept.Silence is golden...unless you have a toddler. In that case silence is very, very suspicious!0 -
I had a trout in A's the other night. Typical, I was in a real rush too. I nipped in quickly to spend a £12 APG that was due up that day, so grabbed some Nescafe at £11.50 and one other thing. After much to'ing and fro'ing and calling the supervisor, she finally said "I'll put it through for you this time, but you really need to buy more items in future!!"
What's all that about? I said, what difference does it make how many items I've got? She said we don't make as much money on it that way? I said, I thought it was about trying to be the cheapest supermarket by 10% and a promise to the customer and didn't realise it was about sada making money!
That's a new one on me!
ask her to take you to customer services soyou can get her toring head office to confirm it to you she wuld have been:o and prob retrained prompto
on a lighter note i got a £20 gift card coming from tesco 2 day as i went to there shop this morning after ringing to see if i had somehthing in stock and they did asked the girl on phone could i double up vouchers to use she said yes bring them to me my name is ***** so i did when i got to tescos and with other shopping to be told i cant double up my vouchers as the machine broke LAST NITE:eek::eek: i was:mad::mad: i spen nearly an hour in shop , so demanded they phone customer servise and sort it out and they are going to send me out £20 gift card so this week tescos have given me £45 as i had £25 yesturday from last week for beening called a lier and fraudster infront of customers and whole shop by a jumped up old trout .so this week shopings compleatly free free:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
My halogen oven suddenly stopped working today it wont heat up I'll be lost without it but when I get a new one I'll be getting one with a hinged lid its a nightmare having to put the lid on a plate when I want to fiddle with the food
And the camera my niece gave me has also given up the ghost
Wonder what the third thing will be
I love my Halogen Oven, but totally agree about the lid.
Never knew you could get hinged ones:)
Where are you buying your next one? I'm thinking of getting one for my mum for ChristmasMy husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
Not stopping today, I am finding this thread difficult reading at the moment.
When you have to watch someone suffering from a terminal illness each day and see first hand the pain that comes with it physically and emotionally, the last thing I want is to come here to have to see, I can't actually find the words to say what I see. But I just want to keep shouting at the screen for it to stop.
I am not a member of any "group" except I guess I am here and until now have always felt comfortable but the last couple of days, I have only been lurking.
Quick lunchtime post
Me too Tinyshoes - first forum/thread I have ever read and joined and not a member of any face book groups. Just keep thinking, why?/how can 'adults' behave in such a manner. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt but the mark was overstepped, in my book, when geniune peoples health problems/life stories were treated as jokes in some posts. Won't say anymore as not great with words.
Anyway need to log off now and will try and catch up later. Shall be optimistic and look forward to things getting better as lots of great people on this thread.0 -
