  • I'll have to remember this patty.
My mum was questioned at length yesterday in Dundonald. She was asked did she know why her APG was so high so she just acted dumb and said I don't know, it doesn't show what gives you the money back.
They wrote down on the back of the APG EXACTLY what she had bought, talked among themselves about how the system's mucked up and whatever they had done to try and fix it had made it worse on some items. Mum said she just stood there quietly letting them decide why it was so high but the supervisor said regardless of why it HAD to be accepted.
Mum also said someone else was having the same problems at the next till and supervisor wasn't happy, SA told her it was because they had had so many high ones over the past few months.

Ah yes, my next nearest store has turned into a trout farm. SA in Ards tried telling me last week it was up to her if she wanted to take an APG of over £5. Needless to say I avoided her this week but she must have heard/seen me and could feel her eyes burning into my back.

DD questioned my apg last week with a manager. I had offered to show them it was real on my phone but supervisor must have had cotton wool in her lugs and ignored me. Happened to get same SA girl and I know now to avoid her again. She asked why my transactions were so similar (all 3 had 2 MT but fillers & triggers were different). I told her I was getting stuff for the foodbank which was 100% true but I noticed on transaction2 she hit a button to do a mini-print. She did the same again for the 3rd transaction. I feigned ignorance and managed to get her to lift them up and show me so I got one from her but she kept the other. Not sure how they'll check as no barcode info.

So the supervisor in westie - are we talking about J? I'm on first name terms with her and she's so helpful and polite. Shame other staff can't be as nice. I informed Asda House about her last week so hopefully she got a pat on the back.

shelly bee, just out so on mobile so apologies for mistakes but wanted to say make sure you treat your bag before you use it. The leather will mark really badly if you go out in the rain especially in that colour!! Mulberry recommend Collonil spray (I've spelt that wrong) but I used a cheaper one. Lay your bag on a towel and make sure you spray from a bit of a distance all over (test on a hidden bit first). It will go a little darker but will dry within 12hours. You need to re-do this every year or so. It will make you bag last ages longer too, and they age beautifully!

    Enjoy your gorgeous bag! Xx

Just put receipt in and all the activia compared :)
Thanks everyone that said I'd probably be ok, they do look at each flavour as a different item. So I got a £9.26 APG very happy with that and need something to cheer me up this week.
