Ive only got one other lens the one it came with 18-55.
These two have been good enough for me. I was watching a dvd the other day whilst dog sitting and it was on about macro shots (I know living on the edge :D) reckoned you could use extender tubes or something along those lines with normal lens it adjusts focal length or something. When I checked ebay about £10 or less so going to order some and give that a go.
One of my mates is a keen photographer and tried to get me to use it on manual and explained what I needed to do a few years back. Flew straight over the top of my head :o I am only using it on auto so a very small amount of its potential I am sure.

:eek: One reason that I come on here is to escape photography, but for what it's worth, please be wary of extenders. You may find that you are just throwing your money away - not very MSE. Your mate's advice is probably the best.
  • right i must go or I will spend all night on here boring you all with my waffle as I havent done anything exciting shopping wise today.

  • I go to Screwfix. I'm a member of their elite catalogue group. They send me regular updates and offers. Well worth giving them a go. If you have one close by.

Staff actually know what they're talking about as well.

Does anyone know where the best place to get the screws for a tv wall bracket? I had to replace a tv and the old set do not fit. :(
Do you mean screws or bolts ? Screws have a pointy end.

I wouldn't buy the bag with the extra as it has a different bar code and will more than likely be n/a:(

This is what I was thinking, anytime there is extra in a normal pack - crisps or cheese or whatever it comes back as NA so its not worth the risk.

We had this up morries the other day, cadbury 4 packs for £1 but aso had packs in a basket 4 with 50% extra at £1.79, different b/c so we price checked and both scanned at £1 but like you said it could alter the apg results lol
