  • yay my face wash worked! So glad I chucked the usual flump, mouse and freddo in!

that's one of the best tips to those trying out the apg comparison for the first couple of times - always chuck in extra cheap fillers so if something is scanned right or removed at the till you will still have enough items for the comparison.

wonder what the comparison for the cheap cat food will look like?!

I used the facewash this morning and can't say I really like it very much, smells like something you would clean the bathroom with
Maybe it's just me, but I honestly think it stinks :rotfl::rotfl:
Was going to get some more but don't think I'll bother now!

DD has decided she needs a sleep, so I'm just farting about now, listening to some tunes on YouTube

I can't stop listening to this song, dunno what it is about it but it's gotten right under my skin, I just love it

  • Ok... who is getting sick of the sight of Milk Tray boxes piling up in their house?

I have hardly been hammering this one as I really have no use for them exept for the school fair this XMas. Have still managed to accumilate about 20 MT and 10 other boxes of chocolates!!!

I have no use for them, which is the reason I haven't even bought one box.

OMG we're doing this with our after school kids on Monday! We got the same cones from the same sort of place but we are using polystyrene balls for heads (could use scrunched up newspaper) and making angels and santas then making a giant Xmas tree with the younger ones using the usual green hand prints cut out and used as leaves/branches. Our centre always looks messy after we do these sorts of things :D

Might look messy but I think the kids must love doing these things.

Years ago, I used to make snowmen sweet jars for the school Christmas fair. Using an empty glass (or plastic now) jar (like an empty, clean coffee jar), cut a length of flat cotton wool the size of the circumference. cover the outside of the jar with glue - stopping about 1cm from the top and the bottom. Carefully roll the cotton wool round the coffee jar, pinching the edges together so that they meet neatly. Do the same on the outside edge of the lid. Make a ball of cotton wool large enough to make the head, put some glue on the top of the lid and then put the head onto the lid. Make buttons, eyes, nose and mouth from felt, scraps of material or paper. Make a hat from felt, materiel or paper and secure with glue. If wanted, shape a couple of pieces of cotton wool into bent arms, secure with glue and pinch the edges together where attached. Make a walking stick (cane shaped) from a piece of card and put the crook over the arm. Fill jar with sweets (small packs of Haribo's, mice etc). Put the lid on so that the head is in the correct position. Tie a piece of ribbon round the 'neck' and voila - that's the scarf. They always sold very well.
