Thanks hun! Need to make the 20 mile journey anyways as a jumper I bought yesterday was on the wrong hanger, there is no way I would fit one boob into a size 8 let alone the rest of me!!!

    PROOF! :D

    Morning all,

Hope all is well in the mad hoose, had to do a fair bit of skipping - damn work keeps getting in the way of keeping up with the thread.

Thanks for the new thread, here's hoping MT still working today and happy shopping everyone.:)
I do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.
I'm just a penny short of a pound. Peace and Love.

I've joined the 5:2 club cos mrT made me eat 1p chocolate.
  • I'll have to remember this patty.
My mum was questioned at length yesterday in Dundonald. She was asked did she know why her APG was so high so she just acted dumb and said I don't know, it doesn't show what gives you the money back.
They wrote down on the back of the APG EXACTLY what she had bought, talked among themselves about how the system's mucked up and whatever they had done to try and fix it had made it worse on some items. Mum said she just stood there quietly letting them decide why it was so high but the supervisor said regardless of why it HAD to be accepted.
Mum also said someone else was having the same problems at the next till and supervisor wasn't happy, SA told her it was because they had had so many high ones over the past few months.

SD: I used an £8.xx APG in there yesterday and the SA didn't even bat an eyelid. She even said to me as she scanned my 2 x MT and 1 x Thornts "would you not be better getting 3 of the MT - it would be better value for money" I had a little chuckle inside to myself and just said "I need a selection" - little did she know!!!

Since a few humiliating troutings in there in the 3 for 2 (or was it 9 for 1!!!) glitch days, I keep my APGs below £10 no matter what.

I have heard that D'dald will not be taking ANY internet printed coupons at all anymore - not even Safe Coups. I haven't tried to use any myself since hearing this but will try over the next few days and see what they say.

Can any one remember if this comparison for LOB showed on MSM before?

    Store_2.15px.png£5.00 any 3 FOR £10.00
    Store_7.15px.png£5.12
    Store_4.15px.png£5.12

If this is new then the LOB's may no longer work as a trigger.:(

Yesterday there was 29 items - will check it out see if I can see what has changed

Westie's a bit rubbish for the triggers. Could only find the trellis tin after a lot of searching.

If you fancy a trip over to D'ald, they keep the Tobe, Thornts and Vinnie tin triggers - MT are stacked in the foyer on the way in the main door (they are nowhere else in the store!) :T

I prefer Dundonald but it's the petrol to get there that puts me off:(
