  • A timely reminder perhaps that there is more to worry about in this world than a few bullies that want ot pick fights. I am not reading back but I wanted to know how logie got on.

    Hi all,

Just a little update from me

Haematologist yesterday explained CT scan showed that there is actually more than one mass which would once again tie in with a lymphoma, unfortunately affecting more than one lymph node :(

One of them is pressing against a blood vessel so as of tomorrow i'm starting on blood thinning injections and steroids to help and try and prevent a blood clot and reduce some of the swelling. At least it feels as if we are doing a little something to help whilst we wait for a proper diagnosis.

This morning I had the lung biopsy. It wasn't a pleasant experience but I couldn't fault my care and thankfully all went to plan and they managed to get some good samples for testing. I got home this afternoon after being observed for a while and now just feel a bit tired, battered and bruised. Will take 7-10 days for results as they have to send the samples off to a different hospital. We're hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

Our friends and family have rallied round and we are lucky to have lots of support and offers of practical help :) After a busy week I'm looking forward to a restful weekend spending time with the boys.

Thanks again for all of your support :A

I am so glad progress is being made and hope the results come back better rather than worse.

Will be thinking of you over these next few torturous days, just hope you can relax while you are waiting.

Good morning everyone, woke up late this morning so I'm about 1.5 hours behind on my schedule, got a lot to do, would not normally come on here when I'm in a rush but had to find out the above.

Off out shortly, might pop back to see if the toys are back in the pram.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Surprised no one has commented on this yet this morning, started on Grabbit with a different title but has been moved to Food and Shopping and Redfox has changed the title. Wonder what direction it will take.

If others want to try out the glitches that's fine with me but I think the Asda price glitches do take a while to get your head round and will put most off

For those who get it good for them - just hope they are not all local to me!

Done a quick Asda earlier, bought 1 x vinnies and 2 x MK, should know around 12.30.

Heinz Beans in my Asda were still SEL 40p, and scanned at that.

don't mess up your shops too much! These milk tray were only £1.49 in superdrug last year anyway so you mess up twice and your not saving much at all.

Think that was the 200g box, this is the 400g box, but I'm not sure.:)

Just back coming back from A. Nearly got trouted again when the trout on SS looked at my total and the coupon it generated. She went to supervisor and got her to look at it. She just said accept it as the system knows best. When do I always get the trouts?:mad:

Squigs and fairclaire and my fellow other locals. I know there is more but can't remember your names sorry. :o About 8 boxes of MT left and lots of trellis tins at the large seaside store. ;)
