'Morning everyone. Been away from the thread for too long, again. My toaster broke just as I was about to use it for my breakfast. Been having issues with the immersion tank - electritian has been out twice since I moved in, and now need him to come again. The lights in my living room keep burning out, last changed the 3 spot lights 2 months ago, two have burnt out already.

Took a plunge and visited the dentist after who-knows-how-many-years because an old broken tooth started hurting. Trying really hard to control my irrational dentist fear and follow through with the treatment plan, but it is tricky. Sedation clinic would take too long, but everytime I think "I have to go to the dentist today" I just feel like curling up in bed and not moving a single muscle. Even a couple of years ago, that's exactly what I would have done.

I see the glitches are still firmly in A's side. Anything happening on the T side of things, by any chance? ;)

    Hi all,

Just a little update from me

Haematologist yesterday explained CT scan showed that there is actually more than one mass which would once again tie in with a lymphoma, unfortunately affecting more than one lymph node :(

One of them is pressing against a blood vessel so as of tomorrow i'm starting on blood thinning injections and steroids to help and try and prevent a blood clot and reduce some of the swelling. At least it feels as if we are doing a little something to help whilst we wait for a proper diagnosis.

This morning I had the lung biopsy. It wasn't a pleasant experience but I couldn't fault my care and thankfully all went to plan and they managed to get some good samples for testing. I got home this afternoon after being observed for a while and now just feel a bit tired, battered and bruised. Will take 7-10 days for results as they have to send the samples off to a different hospital. We're hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

Our friends and family have rallied round and we are lucky to have lots of support and offers of practical help :) After a busy week I'm looking forward to a restful weekend spending time with the boys.

Thanks again for all of your support :A

Logie big hugs, You are in the best possible hands and it sounds like getting the best care:) Thinking of you x

    Good morning all,

Hope you are well. Hugs to those that needs then. Glad that the biopsy went well Logie. Happy Birthday if yours is today. :)

Off to A's and T soon on the hunt for the magazines that T will probably not have in.

Picked up the ideal homes magazine for the dwell voucher yesterday. :)

I can also see 29 items on MSM :)
