    Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker
On the brighter side I did an MT /vinnies shop at 12 ish and decided to do a circuit of town, on the route I bumped into a woman I know (shes in her sixties) after a chat I gave her a MT, she was really pleased, when her husband turned up he mentioned he was running a christmas raffle, guess what he got (a vinnies and an MT !), so I went back to As and did a couple of Thornton/MT shops before getting the Tesco bus home.
The bus driver was a very young Polish guy, hes got a MT for his girlfriend, I dont generally do that sort of thing but I felt a real need in myself to be positive.
Assuming the APGs come through OK It will have cost me about £3 - I feel a lot better, I've had a kiss, a handshake, three smiles, and four people are happier, now that is a bargain!

You know Tescobabe you are a person after my own heart.
I had two men doing a wee bit of work on my front wall - after I had paid them I ran back into the house and fetched two bottles of Albali - you want to have seen their faces - utter shock. I got even more pleasure from giving it than they did receiving:):)

Make that four smiles. What a lovely thing to do.

My DD has just raided (literally) my garage. She makes up boxes of mixed stuff for the local elderly. Mixture of peas, potatoes, sweetcorn, gravy granules, cereal, rice, custard, beans, scourers, washing up liquid, shower, hand soap and hair stuff. Now have a space for something else.:)

    Evening all,
Did an Activia shop this morning and worked as planned.
Looked for the Neutrogena in two sadas but couldn't find it, not even a space. Anyone else found it not stocked ? No use for it myself but would probably be useful for tombola prize (along with chocs of course:rotfl:)

Just back from Asda, and couldn't find ANY Neutrogena either, it only has a small beauty section though. Could have done with some for my teen :(
Never looked but will let you know if I see any will even rearrange it strategically like someone once did for me ;) still got plenty of that cheese:T:T.

we might ...:) , then again i did frequent the Oak in Wedbas so perhaps our social circles didn't cross that many times as it was a smokey little place years ago .. ....unless of course you frequented the same watering hole . ???

I'm sure Peter is still running it ...snip snip and a cheap blue rinse on Wednesdays . :)

Yes, I frequented that drinking establishment but was more of a regular in the Pale Coloured Deer. The Parrys/Barnabys etc. were all Oak regulars.

Aw what a lovely thing to do. Hopefully she will be reunited with her owner soon. Good deed done for the day and you got some exercise:)

    Hi fairclaire,
Yes it did me good all that walking. When I told DD when I picked her up tonight she was really excited thinking that we had a dog. But she did laugh when I was telling her and said "Mummy wombled a dog!" :rotfl::rotfl:Made us laugh all the way home.

Fairclaire, have not had a chance to comment on your post about your pressie. That is absolutely smashing and you so deserve that mate.
You will be nipping around all over the place now, no stopping you when there is a glitch on. Such great news. :T Hope you gave OH a big hug for that. I usually get an iron! will have to show him your post to give him an idea, ;)
When I grow old, I dont want people thinking "what a sweet old lady" I want them to think
"oh carp what is she up to now!"

Wonder if its a regional thing? We are both NE. In the two I checked (one the v.large portrack lane store) didn't seem to stock any Neutrogena products. Wonder if they are on a separate promotional display somewhere I didn't look? Any luck for Darlo Dave or TM?
