Well done on taking the first step.
Now it is time to sit back and detail out exactly what you pay out each month and how much you get in. The CCCS will need this so you may as well post it on here so that we can help as well.

Sarah,
You've done remarkably well thus far. Do post you SOA on this thread as it's likely that you'll get a lot more advice on how to progress further.0 -
still trying to deal with stuff, scary eh! Need your help guys just got home and received a claim from the court made by welcome finance. god now im scared.:T This site is great! Thanks to Martin Lewis & everyone who participates and helps so many people! Without you all, where would we be ??:T

My suggestions would be
1) Get all your paperwork and put it into piles by company. It always feels better if you are organised
2) Get a form letter set up on your pc, to say that you are going to be going through CCCS from now on so that you can send that to your creditors when you get your CCCS number
3) Once CCCS have taken on your case, give your other debt managment company notice that you are leaving them. Check you terms and conditions to see how much notice you have to give.
4) Look at getting a new basic bank account to pay your wages into and your CCCS payment/mortgage out of, this is so that you can
5) start claiming back any charges on your credit cards and previous bank account. There is a good thread on this site about how to go about it.
6) You can check to see if you are in the right banding for council tax. If you aren't then you can claim a refund for all the years that you have lived in the house.
A bit of a daunting list I know, but it will start the ball rolling. You will need to get your paperwork in order so that you can go through all your income and outgoings with CCCS for example. And in doing this you will be then in a position to post your Statemtent of Affairs (as has been suggested above), so that we can help you trim some money off your outgoings.
As for Welcome Finance, I would suggest that you refer this to CCCS and they will help you with it.
best of luck
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Hi Sarah and welcome to MSM, there are always great ideas from those who are already on the path that you are about to take.
You will find the most amazing people become part of your life and in some respects your advisors. I know that the people on here are from all walks of life and in all situations.
We will be here for the good times and bad times and not just here to judge.
I think you could make some cut backs especially with your phone and satallite. Have you thought of changing to a package deal - Sky are advertising some great offers along with Virgin Media (formally Telewest / NTL) we have our phone line with free weekends, full tv package (exceps sport and films) and broardband for £26 per month with Virgin media.
Also if you become a Virgin media customer you can ask for a SIM only deal whick for £10 a month (not contract but pay monthly that you can cancel at any time) you get 300 texts and 300 anytime any network mins. Bargain I got it for hubby and Son.
If you could sort that then you could have a potential saving of £77 without the mobile and £67 with the sim offer.
I think you could maybe cut down on the housekeeping a bit too, I don't know how old your Kids are (if they are in nappies etc)
Take a look at Immoral_angels debt free diary for ideas and encouragement. It always helps me.
Hope this is a start of the hlep you need and sorry if I have not helped0
