What an offensive comparison that is... you should be ashamed of yourself.

    QED

I have applied your logic and now you are making exceptions.

I am curious to know at what point between what i experienced and the density that they packed onto the holocaust trains does it become unacceptable?

It is the comparison that I find offensive - those people crammed onto the 'holocaust' trains were heading to death camps - it has absolutely no relevance to your fare dodging activities.

Your chosen title for this thread was: 'Got caught doing the old sitting in FC on overcrowded train trick'. Your choice of language ('got caught' and 'trick' suggests you were trying it on...

BTW, you have just proved this theory too:

    ?

Since when is having to stand on a train, which millions of people do every day, in any way comparable to genocide.

    You really are an idiot.

Pay your penalty fare and go away.

Why do you find it offensive? I am asking you to compare the density on the holocaust trains. Not the ultimate reason for them travelling.

Where have i compared it to genocide?

Please do not put words in my mouth.

You are told to go to carriage near the front of the train to get off, where there is plenty of platform. Also when we were on a different train when we got off at a local, very small, station, we were told this as well, ie not to get off where there is no platform.

Yes, I know but given the level of stupidity just on this thread alone, no wonder they only allow this where this is no alternative. It would be just a matter of time before someone who either was deaf or who didn't speak English failed to hear the announcement about moving to carriages where there is platform and tried to claim compo because they failed to get off at their station.

Why mention the holocaust, when you could have referred to many other rail systems that operate trains which are overly full?

I'm with the others, you know you are on a losing argument so you invoke Godwin's. And what a fool you look as a result.

    I have not invoked Godwin.

Substitute your own scenario if you want. Is there ever a point when a train becomes unacceptably crowded?

....... and this fact that i had only been in the seat ~15 seconds and offered to leave i still consider the inspectors actions completely unreasonable.

That's like a shoplifter saying whoops I'll put it back, or a speeding motorist saying I only sped for a little bit and I'll slow down from now on. What a numpty!
