I've never been to the O2 - are the best seats with a view likely to be those one level up from the flat floor-level?
Anyone who's been there regularly got any notion of whether or not there's any sweet spots for the sound, or is fairly good acoustically?
Any other pointers?

they change the configuration depending who is playing so I can only give general details as without knowing who you intend to see I would not know the seating plan.
see http://www.theo2.co.uk/seating-plans/2.html
if they have seating on the floor then that has to be your best option but the higher up you go it will not be as good.
unless you are going to a show that there is no demand for I doubt you can be that fussy as tickets these days go very fast.
The last time I was there { to see Roger Waters } there was no standing but at some concerts there is standing so that has to be taken into consideration.0 -
I personally always go for level 1 seats. I find that level 4 is far too high up to see anything clearly, and standing is just too much for me for that amount of time. The seats are well sloped on this level so you can see even if tall people are seated in front of you. I've always had a good view wherever on level 1 I've sat and I've been to a fair few shows there. A lot of people in level one seats stand and dance for much of the show so you would be able to do this too if you prefer, but have the option of sitting too. If you want any seat / block specific opinions I'd be happy to help!0
