Interested in a Maxiport for home use, anybody got one?

I am interested in maybe purchasing a Maxiport or a Maxiport+ to protect my car at home. It gets a bit of a battering from the rain and other such terrors that we get here in "Sunny Britain". The Maxiport is made by a company called Macrolux, anyone used them before? I would like to know a bit more information before committing to buying one.
