Now, this might not sound great but read on, there's a savy principle here.
Always check the menu board in restaurants. meal deals can be more expensive than the sum of the individual items.
I found today, for example that if you but a Zinger meal @ £4.19 then add hot wings at £0.99 you save 1p on a Wicked Zinger meal which is £5.19 for exactly the same.
Now if you think of the 1p saving as a loyalty reward, you could keep it or even better put it in a charity tin and help others.

Think you're missing the gravy!!You were only killing time and it'll kill you right back0

I don't like gravy0

You're also missing the point!
If you've not included a side (be it gravy, beans, coleslaw or corn on the cob) in your "1p cheaper" meal then it's not "exactly the same" as your first post claimed...
And to me, who loves gravy, it's also missing some yummy-ness!You were only killing time and it'll kill you right back0 -
Mmmmmmmm gravy. Nice.I hate migraines.0

Interesting point! Definitely always worth checking the prices of individual items before going for the "deals". I've found similar deals at other fast food outlets aren't actually good for saving money! It's a bit more tedious to have to do this, but if you're a regular at fast food places like me then it can save a lot of money over time!0

I gave up on the meal deals a while ago when I realised I was being brainwashed into having a drink that I didn't really want, prefer to get chicken and chips and tak eit home and have a cuppa PG
Recently discovered their corn on the cob though -it's far better than anything I can cook! You never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow0 -
