A favour from Google Chrome users

Hi all,

I need someone or someones to check something for me please if you are using Google Chrome.

When you log into a secure site so you get the green padlock, if you click on the padlock do you get something that looks like this below?



It seems to have changed as i am used to something more like this. Just wanted to check it has changed and i haven't done something.

Yes. Am i right in thinking it is a new feature of those using Chrome 23 ? I updated Chrome early today.
I have googled it and i think that is what it is saying but wanted to double check

Click on the 'Connection' tab and you will see what you used to see.

Maybe you newly installed update has changed the default.

Yeah, thank for that. Seems to be something to do with the latest chrome 23.0.1271.64 m.

It is a new update, designed to bring awareness to users security I believe. Making it easy to disable tracking/cookies on a per site basis.

I haven't updated yet and still see the old (2nd) style.

Edit: just updated and I now see the new (1st) style.
