I am going to Austria for 10 days alone(well with grandmother and cousin) in may,we will be staying with family.I come home for 8 days then go with partner and kids to Jersey for 13 days,to stay with other family. So go to Austria 5th May,Return Jersey 5th June.
Should I look to insure both as seperate trips,or cheaper to do it all as one?Considering that one trip I'm single, the other I'm in a family group.
Also taking Quidco into account.
Do I really need insurance, saying with family in fairly safe areas?

I wouldn't leave home without Travel Insurance!!!
To back my comment up I will give you a recent occurance....
The girls and I were on a hen weekend in Spain recently. When we were out on the Saturday night one of the girls decided to do a 'Dirty Dancing move - where one person jumps onto the other!!!' .... Anyway to cut a long story short, they both landed in a mess on the floor.
One of the girls had actually cracked her knee bone and we had to get her to the doctors at 12 o'clock at night.... When we flew back she was rushed into hospital and ended up having several ops on it!! Thank goodness that she had insurance... and it had only cost her £8 for the weekend.
As a family we always take a year's worldwide insurance... If we pop over to France we are covered and we are also covered when we go visit and stay with our family in South Africa.
Its just not worth the risk.... "Never save something for a special occasion. Every day in your life is a special occasion". _party_0 -
Travel insurance is a must - you can never tell what will happen.
We have annual insurance for approx £75 per year, which covers worldwide.
Means we are all covered for any sort of trip so well worth itWe all evolve - get on with it0
