Young and with an IVA? How old are you?

I was just curious, and almost hoping that I'm not the only 26 year old that got so far into the red she ended up with an IVA and loosing her house!

Why would you lose your house after taking out an IVA?

More surprised you have a house to start with...Thinking its easier to rack up too much debt than to take out a mortgage.

  • I'm sure you're not the only one - I know I certainly had an unmanageable level of debt at 26 and wish I'd known about IVAs then!

    Good luck.
Unsecured Debt at start of IVA in 2009 = £51,734 :(
Debt free as of March 2015!!!!:D:j:j:j:j
