I and others have been scammed by WOW-deals.co.uk. They advertise cheap prices but then claim they are out of stock and ask you to wait. After a while they claim that due to a website error you will be refunded. However the refund doesn't come and a few days later they email to say you were one of the unlucky ones whose refund has not gone through. They then claim they can't help any further and to contact your bank for a 'chargeback'.
There is a thread on 'What Consumer' forums where 4 people have 'bought' an H2O Steam Mop X5 multi-floor mop and handheld steamer. We are all waiting for a refund. I did pay by Paypal so have started a dispute in the Resolution Centre but I am not hopeful for the £79 I have been duped out of.
So PLEASE BE WARNED - DO NOT DEAL with this company.
Is there somewhere I can report them to?, they should be shut down.

Hi all,
I have recently been scammed by wow deals uk too.
I ordered and paid for an x5 steam mop and had the usual emails that many have reported...
The first being "due to high demand the item is now out of stock and will be ready to be dispatched in 14 days!!"
I called and spoke with a lady in the call centre (the number no longer works!!) and she told me the same info.
The next email received saying the 2checkout system had refunded all the payments (except for 3 or 4) one if which being mine!!
And the third email was to say I need to arrange a charge back with my bank. Which I have tried but they have said they cannot do?!
Does anybody know how I could get my money back?
I paid £89.98 in total.0 -
I ordered a steam mop from wow- deals and was devastated when I realised it was a scam. I contacted paypal, bank and finance service used by wow-deals.
Paypal were wonderful. The took on my case and I was informed today that they have been successful in getting my money back.
I have learn a valuable lesson. Never believe a deal as it is too good to be true and always pay through paypal.0 -
Greetings
I too bought an H20 mop in September and got the same e-mails, but actually received mine a few weeks later. Turns out, it's a fake and it broke after a few uses. There are numerous counterfeit copies on the market apparently, trading under various names. Wow Deals is now trading as Bargain Dealz with the same company name and identical website.
I contacted the manufacturer, Thane Direct and they told me that the ONLY genuine copies are being sold by themselves (either via their own site or 'Thane Direct' shops within Amazon and e-bay, QVC, and Robert Dyas. All other companies selling it are selling copies...that's if you recieve them at all.
I paid by Visa Debit so was able to raise a Visa dispute with by building society...I'll update when I hear more.
If you google 'fake H20 mop' you'll find loads of people being duped around the world by this scam
Hope helpful
