As a person newly moved to the UK (Northern Ireland) from the Republic Ireland who is a homeowner (due to the bank underwriters accepting the Republic Credit History for mortgage purposes), how long should I leave it before applying for a First Direct or Halifax Rewards account?
I'm tempted to apply immediately but might just leave it until I'm on the electoral register in 4-5 months time.
